Baby Blanket for my friend

Well, I finally got another baby blanket done.  The friend I have thru my fiance' who I made the yellow and white one for, I told her I wanted to make a girly one since we found out later that she was having a girl.  We discussed it and she asked that I pick another girl color than pink, so I asked about purple....she said sure.  My son helped me find the color and the softness of the yarn, which after washing it after I was done....it is SOOOOO soft!!  It came out pretty good, I still have to work on my oops's, but for the majority it is good!

Scarf/Hat

I finally got the hat and scarf done for my honey....he asked for a scarf after the hat.  So I made them in the same pattern.  He thinks I am the greatest....I just shrug and say 'I'm just me'.  LOL  I love him and if I can make him a simple hat and scarf to make him happy, besides the other little things I seem to do....awesome!  (:

 The blue is darker than what's shown, the flash made it more of a blueberry look.

Baby Blanket

I have a friend, thru my fiance', that was expecting a baby around Christmas.  So I asked well in advance what she was having, if she was going to find out.  She ended up asking that I just make a general blanket, so I took some yellow and white yarns that I had and made a small blanket.  It is perfect sized for use with the carrier.  I even got my personalized labels in right before I finished, so I made sure to put one on before sending it off to her.  Her and her hunny love it. And have complimented me on it....I being the person I am, I wasn't too thrilled by it....hmmmmmm
