I have a friend who is preggers, and I offered to make a baby blanket....she asked if I make her dishcloths to clean with!
I have given this one to her, and then I whipped out the rest in like 2 days!!.

Soap Pouch
A friend of mine makes home-made soap and she knows I knit, so she has asked that I come in and 'help' her. I made this to show her the quality of work I do, going to send it to her. She makes vegan soap, undyed, blah blah....so I am going to use all natural, undyed yarns. I am going to use cotton at first, but I have found a cotton and bamboo mix that I might try as well. Here are the pics of the soap pouch I made.

Fun whatever hat
I thought, because I had this left over yarn and great yarn at that, to make this cute hat. I can make another since I still have enough yarn. If I do, I will do it differently.

My son's scarf
My son's scarf I just finished a few days ago. I used the same wool yarn I used for my fiance's scarf (changes from grey, black, blue, brown), and added another strand of blue (I think it was an acrylic, I had used it before for my sons hat). He proudly modeled for me after I had washed it and it felted nicely.
This is before I felted it.
Colorful Scarf for my daughter
I decided to use this bright, left over yarn, that goes from orange pink and such and used 2 different eyelash (fun fur) yarn. She loves it....but won't wear it, lol. Children!!

Finished scarves
I finished and washed the scarves (and the red hat too). The red one came out soooo soft and the blue one felted, forgot it was a wool mixed yarn. But it came out very nice. My fiance' has seen pics, I am going to mail them out soon, and he likes!! YAY!
My daughter for some reason didn't feel like being a model this night, not a cheery child then.

Red Hat
A few days ago I finished another hat for my fiance. I am still working on the matching scarf, along with another for him. I learned something new, which of course makes sense now. I learned the rice stitch, 1st on the scarf and did it with an odd amount of stitches. With the hat I did the same pattern, but did it with an even amount of stitches and found that is looks different. Very cool! :)
